- Chipton Ross is seeking a Assembler Level II in Oldsmar, FL.
o The CCA Rework/Repair Operator is responsible for reworking and/or repairing boards that do not meet the quality standards outlined for the product
o Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
o Must be able to work with a variety of different magnification devices and solder as required while using such devices.
o The ability to remove and replace SMT components meeting all required quality and time standards.
o Must be able to remove and replace BGA's, IC's, belly-pad parts and fine pitch components
o Must be able to repair pulled or damaged pads and traces and solder mask defects.
o Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
o Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required.
o Must be able to sit for long periods of time and focus on tedious tasks.
o Must have basic computer skills and have the ability to use several windows based programs as part of your daily routine.
o A minimum of five (5) years' of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (details in job description). Experience includes, but not limited to: PC Touch up experience (removing and replacing components), IPC610 certification or experience, JSTD001 certification or SMT fine pitch soldering experience.
o 5 years experience for max rate, must be clearly detailed in the resume. 2-4 years experience at mid rate, 0-1 years experience at lowest rate (must still have experience in the resume if less than 1 yr)
o Must be able to solder
o Must be able to read and interpret drawings/diagrams/sketches/blue prints
o Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Application tools: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
o Detail oriented and organized with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
o High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
o Must have basic computer skills o Must be willing to work 330 pm to 1 am.
o Experience working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment
o Strong leadership, mentoring and training aptitude
o IPC610 Certification
o IPC JSTD001 Certification
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
