Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a Software Engineering position for embedded real-time software being developed on the Multiple Launch Rocket System Family of Munitions (MFOM) products.
The primary task is to implement Operational Flight Software (OFS) for an existing Guidance Set using the Ada programming language so, a working knowledge of Ada is a basic requirement. Additional technical skills required; experience developing software requirements, software design experience, experience developing software using the Ada95 programming language, experience in implementing missile software, experience with the VxWorks RTOS, inertial and GPS navigation applications, Serial and Ethernet communication protocols.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Ada, Real time embedded software experience, Software Development Lifecycle experience, experience with the VxWorks RTOS, BS in Computer Science or related degree

EDUCATION:
Accredited BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Related Fieldrow toggle

WORK HOURS:
9/80. 1st Shift
Full-Time
