- Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Employee Data Management Specialist 4's located in Renton, WA
Client's Human Resources Architecture Excellence Team is seeking Business Systems Analysts (BSA) to support our Enterprise HR system management, features releases and change management processes. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, governing and delivering Workday and other HR application solutions that improve Client's HR function. You will be collaborating closely with business leaders, HR subject matter experts, IT business partners, and IT delivery teams.
As a business systems analyst, you will be responsible for working with stakeholders to gather, understand and document business requirements in order to develop solutions to meet business goals and to lead the management of system and SAAS functionality adoption toolkits, system roadmaps and release planning as well as testing and validation of requirements.
Business System Analysts:
oResponsible for business system management and analysis of Client HR systems including vendor SAAS systems, especially Workday
oAct as the application (Workday or other) subject matter expert and deliver ongoing functional application support
oCollaborate with HR Organizations (Centers of Excellence), IT and other experts to translate business requirements into solutions. Identify alternatives, assess and evaluate new functionality and configure and validate HR applications using functional system configurations, business process configurations and other tools
oConduct fit/gap analysis to find gaps and recommend alternatives
oDevelop solution design and functional requirements documentation
oFacilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts and end users
oWork with HR and IT to design system interfaces with third party vendors ensuring consistent and accurate data flow
oAssist with global HR systems projects and work closely with project team to track issues through to resolution and resolve requests and queries
oWork closely with project stakeholders to plan implementation of new functionality, discretionary projects and change requests
oAct as a liaison with HR, vendors and IT to ensure effective integration of Workday HCM with external HR solutions and other functional systems
oWork across a team of BSAs to catalog all Workday and other system adoption features to support end-user readiness activities. Evaluate/update plans based on new Workday release functionality. Build roadmap and project plans. Support training as required
oAssist in developing and maintaining HR System Architecture standards
oWork with vendor, business and IT on managing system releases and prepare testing plans to confirm that system designs are optimal and validate and verify requirements
oExperience with Workday a plus
oExperience with ServiceNow a plus
oExperience with Team Foundation Services (TFS) a plus
oStrong functional knowledge of HR processes
oExperience working with SaaS vendors a plus
oBusiness System Analysis certifications a plus
Desired Experience and Qualifications
oSystem support experience in Workday Human Capital Management desired
oStrong analytical and technical skills
oAbility and experience with facilitating and collaboratively participating in requirements gathering
oProven ability to conduct comparative solution analyses, fit-gap analyses and employ other business system analysis methods and tools
oExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal collaboration skills
oGood project management, cross-functional team collaboration and vendor management skills
oDemonstrate solid track records of driving projects to successful outcomes
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related HR Systems work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
