- Chipton-Ross is seeking 8 Technical Design 4's located in Oklahoma City, OK
Leads the development and maintenance of mechanical/structural engineering product definition. Oversees the development and design of layouts and the modification of existing designs to satisfy customer and production requirements. Develops product definition based upon Client requirements and parameters. Coordinates development of product definition with internal/external parties to ensure compliance with applicable standards, requirements and design parameters as well as product functionality. Integrates work statement, work scope and work transfer packages with internal and external customers to requirements. Oversees, directs and integrates product definition data packages, requirements and parameters across internal and external business partners and products to provide a functional end-product. Investigates and resolves complex manufacturing process or engineering related issues. Verifies accuracy of technical and non-technical data produced by others. Develops, validates and maintains new processes and procedures to increase productivity and reduce costs. Basic knowledge of airplane structural repair methods. Experience using CATIA V5, CMPRO and Enovia. Works under minimal direction.
Must have Experience creating structural / mechanical designs using CATIA V5, CMPRO & Enovia.
oBasic knowledge of structural design principles and practices from requirements generation to production and product support
oBasic knowledge of airplane structural repair methods
Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
