Chipton-Ross is seeking an Administrative Assistant / Trade Compliance Coordinator for an opening in Tulsa, OK.

Answer incoming calls in a courteous manner. Greet visitors and complete Visual Compliance screening as necessary. Post announcement of visitors on welcome board as needed. Stamp, sort and distribute mail. Order flowers when needed, provide assistance with vending service (give refunds as needed and contact vending service with problems or concerns with the vending machines), plan and coordinate employee appreciation/recognition events, update birthday listing monthly and anniversary listing annually and ensure these are posted on the bulletin boards. Assist with the monthly newsletter by submitting and preparing articles/data. Copy and distribute company communications to employee population. Coordinate Health & Wellness Fair and other charitable events. Administer company service award program. Update training matrix with Ethics training and assist with LMS training issues. Schedule printer, copier, fax service repairs. Check and release Sales Orders. Assist employees with travel preparation. Assist other departments as needed with various tasks.
Customs/Trade Compliance Coordinator - has the responsibility for assisting the Customs/Trade Compliance Official and Empowered Official in developing, implementing and managing export/import compliance and controls, including specific responsibilities as defined in Corporate Policy 707, Export/Import Controls and Compliance. It is understood that the C/TCC becomes thoroughly knowledgeable of the duties and responsibilities as enumerated in Section 7.0 of Policy 707 and Appendix 2 – Customs/Trade Compliance Program.

A C/TCC is expected to attend at least one Global Trade Group (GTG) Instructor Led Applied Customs Practitioner Training and the Annual Customs/Trade Compliance Conference in order to remain current with L3 Policies and U.S. Government Export/Import Laws and Regulations to maintain this appointment.

High School diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience working on a multi-line phone system. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with focus on detail. Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite preferred). Ability to work well with employees, visitors, and customers. Works without close supervision. Knowledge of general office procedures. Confidentiality a must. Some travel may be required.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
