Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Assembler Sr in Marion, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have a minimum of one year of experience as a hand solderer of electronic printed circuit boards Certified or ability to be certified in J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 ability to understand written and verbal instruction

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
ability to perform soldering tasks while using microscopes or other visual magnifiers some experience with personal computers

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
