Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Contracts Administrator for an opening in Crestview, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
A thorough understanding of the FAR, DFAR, and ITAR regulations is required.
Must be articulate and capable of handling serious and complex negotiation discussions under high pressure and in dealing with all levels of internal and external organizations. Experience in leading negotiations of terms/conditions, cost/price and general administration excess of $20 million is desired.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s Degree with one (1) year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS:
1st Shift, 8:00 - 4:30
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
