Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer Level 1 for an opening in Marinette, WI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be part of an onsite team responsible for quality engineering oversight and management of multiple hull construction at a Tier 2 shipyard for the LCS program with an emphasis on program partner/subcontractor activities. The candidate will perform an array of quality assurance activities including subcontractor surveillance/audits, including the monitoring of multiple trades including but not limited to electrical, welding, painting, and piping. Responsibilities also include the investigation of nonconforming material and facilitate the determination of root cause and corrective action, the review of records for adequacy and compliance to contract requirements, procedures and quality standards.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Quality Inspection or Engineering in a Ship Building or repair Facility Extensive working knowledge of quality inspection principals Ability to read blue prints, schematics and drawings.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
5/40, 1st Shift
Full-Time
