Responsibilities of the position include performing routine and specialized maintenance/repair support, of commercial category passenger vehicles, sports utility and power generation equipment. The Machinery Maintenance Mechanic repairs machinery or mechanical equipment. Work involves most of the following: examining machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble, dismantling or partly dismantling machines and performing repairs.
Minimum of 8 years of related experience in automotive and diesel maintenance trouble shooting, and repair of equipment. Familiar with the following Polaris, Toyota Tacoma, Hi lux, Land Cruiser, golf carts and other commercial types of equipment as well as tactical military ground equipment. Candidates should have the desire and ability to work alone as well as with others to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on customer owned equipment. Ability to work independently.
Diagnose, repair and service all equipment listed with little or no assistance FOSOV Training Course Automotive service and repair degree. Two years working with a SOF unit.
