Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Metal Prep Operator for an opening in Hawthorne, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will work on clip set-ups and will be assisting machine operators. May disburse and move raw material/skins using an overhead crane. May make required weight and vacuum adjustments when operating the overhead crane using standard procedures. May operate the up-ender in order to properly position skins vertically onto the stockmaster. May Set up shearing operation and cut raw material to specified size and dimension. stock based on first in: first out inventory management principle. May Apply protective coating to all premium skins using the automated spray booth. Must verify on the computer that the spray booth emissions conform to established environmental standards. Works from established desk procedures and instructions, or verbal instructions.
Responsible for clip set-up and will be assisting the machine operators on related tasks as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
18 months of directly related experience.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED and 18 months of directly related experience.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
