Chipton-Ross is seeking a Design Engineer II for an opportunity in Nwe Brighton, MN

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates basic designs of aircraft interiors, structures and mechanical systems for Fit, Form and Function to meet customer criteria, quality standards, FAA requirements, budget and project schedules using Computer Aided Drafting/Design tools.
Designs and checks mechanical aircraft interior furnishing, structures and/or systems; Ensures designs meet customer criteria, quality standards and FAA requirements; Adheres to budget and project schedules; Provides design guidance and feedback to other engineering personnel; Provides liaison engineering support.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3-6 years

? Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills ? Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers ? Solves a range of straightforward problems ? Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures ? Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Aviation background preferred.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
