Chipton Ross is seeking a Accounting Clerk II for an opening in Carson, CA
A/P Clerk Staffing needed to catch up on the past due bucket in OnBase and Document scanning. Reduce A/P overdues, complete backlog , invoices/receipt not matching in system to reconcile.
On-time collection of cash and cash application and the proper record and invoices as to account, amount, and period. Interact with customers and upper management to resolve collection and/or invoice issues. Reconcile and post cash receipts. Perform the end of the month Accounts receivable closing procedures, including journal entries and roll forward. Analyze customer accounts for errors and make necessary corrections. Maintain the customer master file. Review monthly invoicing for proper account, amount, and period. Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment. Performs under only general supervision work along specialized or technical lines requiring special knowledge.
3-6 years of experience in cash receipts applications and accounts receivable collections.
High School Diploma or GED required
Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience
Entry level often for those with work experience in the skill area
Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions
Microsoft Office and Windows operating system.
Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate, written and verbal communication skills.
M-F, 8 hrs a day start time 7 or 8am
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
