Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Procurement Agents (Level 2) for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX .
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
At least an Intermediate competency level in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive
Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor's degree or higher
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.). Education must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
FULL TIME/ Must be available to work 1st & 2nd shift
ADDITIONAL
VCB - PL1 Access: This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted.
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.
Potential for up to 5% travel.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
