Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Canoga Park, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) SECRET clearance required Experience with FPGA toolsets Experience in HDL programming with VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog Hardware-Software Integration and Validation experience Proficient in using CAD tools (ProE, CATIA, VisMockup) and Microsoft Office

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop/design support hardware and review engineering drawings Develop and implement manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes Manage projects using Lean methods (Kaizen, 3P, VSM, etc.) Support design reviews (CDR, CoDR, PDR) Perform risk assessments for manufacturing processes Troubleshoot FPGA-related production issues Prepare and defend Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and strategic manufacturing plans Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (customers, vendors)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Tight tolerance machining and welding process development Experience in mechanical component manufacturing for rocket engine systems Strong organizational and multitasking skills Team building across value streams Experience supporting complex manufacturing environments and guiding large-scale Processes

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited Bachelor's Degree

WORK HOURS:

4/10A - 1st Shift Additional: Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
