- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Information Technology Software Application Developer for a remote opportunity in Huntsville, AL.
Remote, open to anywhere in the US as long as the candidate is good working the core hours.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience with Windchill / Windchill modifications
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tools
- Application development
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees development, documentation and maintenance of complex architectures for software systems. Contributes to the evolution of the architectures, defines architectures within a domain. Provides guidance to other sites and projects with regard to architecture selection. Serves as a consultant and external spokesperson for the organization; acts as subject matter expert. Assists project managers with risk management and customer reviews. Develops corrective action plans. Develops project plans and schedules using inputs from team members. Assesses project compliance with regulations and standards. Oversees requirements development team. Develops Computer Software Configuration Item (CSCI) software requirements and algorithms. Negotiates internal and external interfaces and requirements with customers, teaming partners, subcontractors and suppliers. Oversees Computer Software Component (CSC) requirements trade studies. Performs CSCI requirements change assessment. Provides guidance to other sites and projects with regard to requirements. Oversees supplier/subcontract management team for complex/advanced technology software projects. Participates in independent reviews of supplier/subcontractor software. Oversees resolution of programmatic problems. Provides supplier/subcontractor management guidance. Oversees development, maintenance, and unit test for a CSCI. Acts as a subject matter expert on programming languages and development tools. Oversees development/decomposition, documentation, and maintenance of designs for a CSCI. Oversees internal/external design reviews. Provides guidance to other sites and projects with regard to design implementation. Defines new program integration efforts/plans. Consults with multiple projects on integration strategies and defect investigation. Oversees development, selection, tailoring, and deployment of processes and tools. Provides high level expertise on specific software systems to internal/external customers. Oversees the team to resolve operational and integration. Functional workflow additions for engineering change processing and engineering commitment release. Completed change processing and engineering release workflows pushed for program usage.
Patriot Advanced Capabilities (PAC-3) program Windchill Engineering Updates are needed to revise Windchill workflow to remove inefficiencies and align to proposed Engineering Change Process for new Pre-CCB and CCB format.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
The ability to obtain a Secret clearance is preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
ADDITIONAL:
No travel. If local to Huntsville, then contractor can come in to work onsite if they would like. RMT Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
