Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Software Engineer – Developers (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• VB.NET or C#.NET
• SQL or other relational database
• Unit testing frameworks like xUnit, jUnit, or nUnit
• C++
• Regular and predictable attendance is required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate for the role of Software Engineer - Developer will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, and safety standards for the Tomahawk program, while adhering to strict government regulations. You will have the opportunity to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design of software products. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing maintaining, enhancing and optimizing software products and functionalities for systems integrations. Additionally, you will debug and resolve issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
• Handles user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues and user feedback analysis
• Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development
• Execute and document software research and development projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Windows Environment (Windows 10/11, Windows Server)
• Project Management Tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
• Azure DevOps Pipelines or other CI/CD tools
• SQL
• Agile
• Strong mathematical analysis skills or STEM degree
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
