Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Brea, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
1+ of assembly experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical production
soldering and cable assembly
Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant experience
Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
Basic hand tool usage and color code sequence identification
Ability to work with close supervision
Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform skilled repetitive mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations
Assemble, modify, rework, and/or reassemble production components per drawings and documentation
Use basic hand tools such as solder iron, heat gun, crimpers, rulers, wire strippers, etc.
Clean parts prior to production use
Support first-time production runs of new products
Participate in inventory handling, transactions, and cycle counts
Support continuous improvement and team-building activities
Complete all required documentation and follow all safety rules
Perform cleanup and tool inventory tasks
Other duties as assigned
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Participation in team environments and familiarity with safety compliance
Experience in a light industrial or electronics manufacturing environment preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

Full-Time
1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
