Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience in sub-assembly and soldering
Familiarity with wiring, soldering to terminals
Ability to read and work from diagrams and drawings
Experience using hand and/or power tools
Ability to perform continuity checks on in-process and completed work
Must be able to read and write English
Must pass a medical exam per supplier guide

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of tasks from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
Performs initial layouts, uses tools, and may conduct quality inspections on processing line
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies under simulated conditions

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Mechanical Assembly
Blueprint Reading
Wireharness Print Reading
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of complex mechanical/electrical concepts
Experience running wires is strongly desired

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift (Mon-Thurs, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST)


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
