Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Technician Field candidates for a contract opportunity in White Sands Missile Range, NM.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Mechanic experience on HIMARS, M270, or military vehicles
Diesel or gasoline mechanic experience
No prior military experience is required
Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance
Must wear safety shoes
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment
Perform various maintenance and technical support functions on products including equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at field locations
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Hands-on mechanical experience on military or commercial heavy-duty vehicles
Technical familiarity with tactical vehicle platforms
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
4/10A - Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
