Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Inspector candidates for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have prior solder inspection experience
Minimum 2 years of solder/visual inspection experience OR 3 years manufacturing/soldering experience of electronic assemblies
Minimum 1 year conformal coating experience
Must be able to work under a microscope
Must have IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 experience (resume must reflect this)
Must be detailed and process-oriented, proficient with interpreting drawings, diagrams, IPC standards, revision control, and documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to read/write English
Must be proficient with personal computers
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of manufacturing when addressing quality defects

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use predetermined methods and prescribed specifications to inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies
Interpret instructions, drawings, inspection instructions, and checklists
Use measuring devices such as dial indicators, micrometers, and scales
Visually inspect CCAs to manufacturing and industry specifications, including IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with documentation, measurement standards, and visual inspection
Experience navigating and understanding IPC standards and related documents

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
4/10 - 2nd Shift (Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM EST, plus weekend OT as required)


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
