Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Cable Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience in cable harness or mechanical assembly
Ability to use hand and/or power tools
Must be able to read and write in English
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a variety of assembly tasks on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
Work from diagrams and drawings, perform initial layouts
Use hand and/or power tools for assembly
Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed work
Conduct quality inspections per quality specifications
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies under simulated conditions
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Mechanical aptitude
Experience using various tooling
Experience assembling cable harnesses
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
4/10-1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST
Overtime available on weekends
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
