Chipton-Ross is seeking a Recruiter 2/3 for a remote contract opportunity.

* This is a remote opportunity, with a preference for candidates located in the Maryland or surrounding region to support occasional in -person business needs and recruiting events.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Basic Qualifications for Level 2 Talent Acquisition Business Partner:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a full lifecycle recruiting role (agency or corporate) with a focus on sourcing strategy, lead generation, and candidate quality. (An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
US Citizenship required.
Demonstrated ability to partner with hiring managers to develop and execute effective recruiting strategies.
Proven success managing multiple technical requisitions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
Proven ability to build and maintain diverse talent pipelines across complex technical domains.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a consultive, customer-first approach.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3 Talent Acquisition Business Partner:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6+ years' experience in a recruiting (technology) or sourcing recruiting role (agency or corporate) with an emphasis on lead generation, candidate quality and hiring team first mentality
Or 10 years of equivalent combination of education & experience

Demonstrated ability to partner with hiring managers to develop and execute effective recruiting strategies.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a skilled full lifecycle Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team to support our Engineering and Sciences organization. We are looking for a collaborative, strategic recruiting professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, technically complex environment. Ideal candidates will bring strong sourcing skills, sound judgement, and the ability to build effective relationships with hiring teams. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact critical national security missions while working alongside a high-performing, mission-driven team.
Responsibilities:
Partner with managers to understand staffing needs to develop effective, data-driven recruiting strategies.
Source, screen, and engage qualified candidates for various technical disciplines.
Utilize social media, job boards, employee referrals, and events to attract diverse talent.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and internal hiring policies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of candidate interactions and recruitment activities within applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Represent client at career fairs and networking events to promote our employer brand.
Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Background in agency or staffing firm recruiting, particularly in high-performance or competitive markets.
Experience recruiting in government contracting, aerospace or defense industry environments.
Familiarity using Workday (ATS) and Eightfold (AI-powered talent intelligence platform).
Knowledge of OFCCP compliance and experience working with a regulated hiring environment.
Active in digital sourcing and social recruitment (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent communities).
Technical industry awareness, with an understanding of relevant skills and competitive talent markets.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing and shifting priorities supporting multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to support recruiting events and business needs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. Remote position, but must be available to come on site when needed in Maryland.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
