Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Computer Sys Security Analyst 1's for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Newport News, VA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 12 years of relevant non-exempt, Manufacturing, Military, Shipbuilding or Trades experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
o SOC/IT administration experience
o Experience with large enterprise SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intel platforms (native and cloud-based)
o Desirable to have relevant certifications in security technologies and methodologies
o SEC+
o GIAC Certified Incident Handler
o IT Systems and Network Administration
o Excellent customer service skills
o Strong oral and written communication skills
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts a compliant validation process for quality information technology systems which requires formal validation documentation (including standard operating procedures) under appropriate federal regulations. Coordinates activities with clients, programmers/developers and operating personnel, domestic and, as appropriate, global. Identifies current and anticipated requirements for compliant computerized operations and suggests methods for the identification, implementation and maintenance of the procedures, actions and documentation necessary to assure compliance according to the appropriate federal and international regulations which govern the users' applications. Reports on the status of validation activities to fulfill regulatory requirements. Keeps abreast of changing federal and international regulatory requirements, government audit policies, and the availability of current techniques.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
5/40 workweek. Opening for 1st 6:30am-3:30pm, 2nd 3pm-11:30pm. HYBRID (Ability to support 2 days Tues/Thurs in office, 3 remote, support on site management meetings as required)
MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
