Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.
This position is 100% onsite.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
5 or more years of experience in reliability engineering with Department of Defense contracts.
Experience with Solid Rocket Motors.
Proficiency in Reliasoft or Relex reliability analysis software.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
Active Secret Clearance is required at time of start.
Must be a U.S. citizen (no dual citizenship).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Reliability Engineering analyses on a wide variety of programs to influence design and identify associated risks.
Define the appropriate level of reliability scope based on program needs.
Interpret customer requirements and expectations to inform reliability strategies.
Execute reliability tasks early in the program lifecycle.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, within budget and schedule.
Effectively communicate progress and results to stakeholders.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience supporting solid propulsion or missile systems.
Strong understanding of military standards and design reviews.
Hands-on experience with system failure analysis and reporting.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field.

WORK HOURS:
9/80 work schedule



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
