Chipton-Ross is seeking a Stock Clerk 2 for a contract opportunity in Sierra Vista, AZ.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 2 years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing environment, or related experience.
o Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
o Must be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic.
o Must be able to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements.
o Experience with data entry, and proficient using commercial and military logistics supply systems.
o Experience maintaining records and providing traceability of materials.
o Experience receiving material, inspecting, and verifying materials received for accuracy.
o Experience determining best storage practices for warehouse environment.
o Experience with and be comfortable using forklifts.
o This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.
o Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance per business requirements.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a Stock Clerk - to support our Global Supply Chain Team. As a member of the GSC department you'll work in a fast-paced team environment, providing warehouse support and kitting for end items. This position will serve on-site at Global Autonomous & Tactical Solutions in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
o Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse.
o Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; and prepares stock use reports.
o Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space.
o Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues. Contacts are frequent with individuals representing outside organizations, and/or individuals of significant importance within the company.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Security Clearance (Secret)
o High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of related experience.
o Prior experience leading a team.
o Warehouse Management Software Experience SAP
o Prior stockroom experience.
o Prior military experience with logistics.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
5/40 work week. 1st shift position. On-site.
ADDITIONAL:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
