Chipton-Ross is seeking an IT Architect for a contract opportunity in Denton, TX.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Architect is responsible for integrating internal and external technical solutions to meet business requirements. This includes designing cohesive technical architectures that support applications, user services, and infrastructure needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and document technical architecture for internal and external solutions
Analyze the impact of new solutions on existing architectures
Create scalable, reliable, cost-effective solutions aligned with business needs
Define and support IT infrastructure standards and procedures
Participate in infrastructure roadmaps and major group initiatives
Conduct technical impact analyses and propose viable alternatives
Support project leaders with technical infrastructure expertise
Ensure alignment with Safran Group policies and safety practices
Regular, predictable attendance is required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of IT experience
Advanced knowledge in:
Network & Telecommunications (CISCO, MPLS/WAN)
IT Security (Palo Alto, Forcepoint, Encryption)
On-premises services (VMWare, NetApp, EMC Storage)
Cloud solutions (AWS)
Enterprise Architecture
Basic knowledge of:
ITIL processes
Project Management
Advanced verbal and written communication in English
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
TOGAF certification preferred
Familiarity with NIST 800-171 and CMMC environments
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelors' Degree

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
