Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
There is an opportunity to be hired full-time with the client.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical assembly.
Familiarity with surface mount technology is preferred.
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics.
Experience using power tools, soldering equipment, ohmmeters, and calipers.
Ability to assemble, fabricate, and machine components as needed.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Must have experience using soldering equipment.
IPC 610/JSTD experience
Perform soldering tasks to connect components securely.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Computer skills need to be strong.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble electrical components and systems according to specifications and schematics.
Utilize power tools and hand tools to fabricate and assemble parts.
Perform soldering tasks to connect components securely.
Conduct testing using an ohmmeter and caliper to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Full-Time
4/10 work schedule
2nd Shift
Mon-Thurs 3:30 PM-2:00 AM EST with OT available on the weekends
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
