Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Cable Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assemble cable harnesses and solder connections following written and print instructions

Strip, crimp, and prepare copper and coax wire using hand tools

Perform work in accordance with IPC 610/620 standards

Demonstrate high mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with potential weekend overtime

Follow processes and quality standards for electrical assemblies

Interpret and read wire harness assembly diagrams and prints


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cable harness assembly

Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards

Proficient in using tools and technologies for cable and wire harness assembly

Ability to read, follow instructions, and work from technical prints

Must be able to read and write English

Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide


DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience in soldering and working with coax/copper cable

Growth mindset and demonstrated willingness to learn


REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent

WORK HOURS:
4/10 schedule
1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST
Overtime available on weekends

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
