Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Clearfield, UT.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
High school diploma or equivalent and 3-15 years of relevant experience.
o Proficient in use of NX.
o Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing processes.
o Previous experience with composite materials.
o Problem solving/trouble shooting.
o Ability to communicate with operations technicians.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a Software engineer who can perform the duties listed below;
o Responsibilities
o Provide troubleshooting support for laser projection in layup cells
o Create Laser projection files using NX Fibersim
o Create assembly models using NX
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Windows and MS office skills required
o Working knowledge of Siemens FiberSIM
o Laser Projection Experience (Virtek LaserEdge preferred)
o Pattern Cutting Nesting Experience (TruNest preferred)
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
3/12 workweek. C-Shift (Fri-Sun) 7AM-7PM. Can work during the week for overtime, when needed.
ADDITIONAL:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
