Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 (Two) SMT Operators for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
2+ years of experience as an SMT Operator, with a focus on MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment.
Strong understanding of SMT production processes, including component placement, soldering, and inspection.
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a skilled SMT Operator who is familiar with MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment and has a strong understanding of all facets of SMT production. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment, including setup, and operation of equipment, including minor troubleshooting.
Perform SMT production tasks, including component placement, soldering, and inspection.
Ensure high-quality production by following established procedures and guidelines.
Collaborate with production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
-Under limited supervision, responsible for moderately complex Surface Mount manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment and hand assembly. Performs semi-routine SMT, Inspection and AOI equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment and utilizes other Surface Mount Technology equipment such as X-RAY, Stencil Printing, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Accredited associate's degree or certification in a related field preferred.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in a related field preferred.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time-4/10 Monday through Thursday
2nd Shift-03:30PM-02:00AM with OT available on the weekend.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
