Chipton-Ross is seeking an Employee Development Specialist (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Salt Lake City and West Jordan, Utah.
100% onsite
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Strong background in Fabrication, Assembly, and/or Quality Systems.
o Regular and predictable attendance is required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supports fabrication in Salt Lake City and West Jordan, Utah.
This position is for manufacturing/fabrication instructor with knowledge/experience in all or some of the following: Composite layup (pre/post cure), Composite Fabrication and/or Repair Fabrication of assemblies, System Installation, Production Certifications, Production Systems, and other general shop/fabrication practices at Client Salt Lake City/West Jordan.
Position Responsibilities:
o Leads complex group instruction sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Client Production System for internal or external customers.
o Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
o Analyzes and interprets data.
o Provides feedback on assessment results and finds opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
o Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.
o Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
o Works under minimal direction.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS: MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT.
