POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist Level 5 for the 777X Mechanical Systems team in Everett, WA. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the certification of the 777X family of products and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of cutting-edge projects to our airline customers.
As a 777X Mechanical Systems Project Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, manufacturing, suppliers, and stakeholders, to develop and implement project plans, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure effective communication throughout the project. The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills.
You will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing budgets, and tracking project progress, ensuring that all deliverables are met with the highest quality standards. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously will be essential in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.
o Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry.
o Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
o Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
o Develops and establishes lead time requirements.
o Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry.
o Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies.
o Evolve our Engineering teams Agile work management framework and tool kit as we transform the work management system.
o Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Accredited Bachelor's degree or higher.
o 10 + years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Professional certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP).
o A strong drive to see projects through to completion and pull together a highly skilled technical team to produce impactful results.
o Experience working on airplane systems or integrated system development projects.
o Experience working with teams across a diverse set of skills from Engineering to Production to Supplier Management.
o Experience with Agile/Scrum project management framework.
o Experience using JIRA or other Agile workflow management tools and ability to help teams better integrate and drive reporting from the tool.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience Bachelor degree typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or a combination of experience and EDU.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
ADDITIONAL:
Domestic travel required: 5 to 10% travel.
International travel required: 5 to 10% travel, no international trips planned at this time.
OT/DOT: 20% OT required.

Duration: 12 months, possible extension. Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
