Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Representative 3 for a contract opportunity in Maxwell AFB, AL.

100% onsite

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
-Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a military aviation context.
-Proficiency in inventory management systems, particularly the GOLD system.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
-At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Logistics Support Representative (LSR) for the MH-139 Grey Wolf Program will play a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of the fleet through effective logistics support. Positions are available at Maxwell AFB, AL. Candidate will be expected to work 2nd, 3rd or 4th Shift as needed.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short-notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers. Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

-Warehouse Management: Oversee the storage, organization, and inventory control of parts and equipment essential for the MH-139 program. This includes receiving, inspecting, and properly storing parts to ensure their availability.
-Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of required parts and equipment, maintaining effective communication throughout the supply chain.
-Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using the Government Online Database (GOLD) system. Conduct regular audits and implement efficient replenishment processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
-Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parts and equipment.
-Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance logistics processes, systems, and performance to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
-Technical Expertise: Utilize a strong understanding of logistics principles and supply chain coordination to effectively manage the warehouse and support the MH-139 program.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
-Military Background: Experience in military aviation supply operations or logistics support is highly desirable.
-Advanced Certifications: Additional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are preferred.
-Technical Skills: Familiarity with government contracting processes and compliance requirements related to logistics and supply chain management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years of related work experience, 7 years of related work experience, etc.).

WORK HOURS: Flex - Candidate will be expected to work 2nd, 3rd or 4th Shift. Still working on determining what the support looks like shift wise. Contractor will begin working on 2nd shift but if there is any business change and the team goes into third and 4th that is expected the contractor be able accommodate.

ADDITIONAL:
Contractors might be asked to travel 2-3 hours away to pick up material from procurement site. Due to the shift time this position will most likely not have to complete this travel but will need to be able to complete if needed.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
