Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 (five) Product Repair/Mod Tech A's for a contract opportunity in Heath, OH.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- 1 or more years of experience working with tools (hand-held tools.)
- Willingness to work with beryllium or other chemical elements.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook.)
- Education – HS diploma, GED.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision.
Day to day:
- Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Must be able to work all shifts. Training will be first shift, 7:00 am – 2:30 pm.
ADDITIONAL:
Secret clearance required to start.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
