Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Manufacturing Engineer (Level 5) for a contract opportunity in Tukwila, WA.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Electrical/Wiring Manufacturing Engineer to support USAF E-7A Program. Leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, innovative producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies. Conceptualizes and oversees the implementation of the program architecture for build. Consults upper management on long-range planning. Develops manufacturing plans or concepts for high level program requirements. Conducts producibility and variation analyses at the program Large Scale Systems Integration (LSSI) level. Resolves complex technical problems. Organizes technical aspects of proposal development. Develops and authors new engineering principles, theories and advanced technologies. Develops advanced design solutions. Conducts research resulting in new product or business opportunities. Consults on lean principles and technologies for enterprise wide initiatives. Documents and communicates producibility best practices. Identifies training needs. Establishes procedures, standards, protocols and reporting requirements. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role. Regular and predictable attendance is required
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor's degree with 14 or more years' experience, Master's degreee with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
