Chipton-Ross is seeking a Safety & Airworthiness Specialist 4 for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.

100% onsite

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
-Experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.
-JavaScript experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Researches, analyzes, and compiles technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
- Applies systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of system of systems, systems and new product development.
- Derives and develops architectures, functional requirements, refinements and product designs.
- Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product.
- Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives.
- Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes and software tools.
- Trains and instructs others.
- Works under general direction.
- Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience with the ODA (procedures).
- Experience working with FAA and with the Boeing Safety and Airworthiness (SAW) processes.
- Experience with Microsoft tools and SharePoint.
- Attention to detail.
- Critical thinking experience.
- Experience communicating effectively and ability to collaborate across diverse organizations and entities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
