Chipton-Ross is seeking a Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
9 years of professional experience, or 7 years with a related Master’s degree
Experience with:
• CREO
• Windchill PLM database software
• ASME Y14.5 and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Tolerance stack-up analysis
• Production CCA processes and changes
• CCA design and production experience with CCAs and PWBs
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support electromechanical design and production efforts
Provide MRB support and interface with cross-functional teams
Develop new design concepts and support product R&D
Collaborate with structural and thermal analysts, configuration management, and quality teams
Support engineering documentation release, assembly, inspection, and test processes
Travel may be required as needed
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with Zuken E3 and Mentor
IDX transfer experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st ShiftEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
