Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Scrum Masters for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have an active Secret Clearance
Scrum Master certification required
Experience in IT, Fullstack, Software, or Systems Engineering
Experience facilitating Scrum meetings including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Strong understanding of Agile principles and best practices
Experience using JIRA and Agile software development tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Experience tracking team performance metrics and supporting continuous improvement
Ability to identify and remove impediments to team progress
Experience ensuring transparency through radiators like burndown charts and dashboards
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guide 1–2 agile teams through development of operational baseline updates
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and promote Agile practices
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized backlog
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
Support compliance with government regulations and security protocols
Track and report team metrics and progress
Support continuous improvement and team development
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with engineering design principles and hardware/software integration
Familiarity with metrics development and systems engineering
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
