Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Manufacturing Engineers for a contract opportunity in Ocala, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor’s degree required
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques
Experience manufacturing Cable and Harness and/or Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
Familiarity with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards
3–5 years of experience with MIL SPEC Cable and Harness and/or MIL SPEC CCA assembly

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts
Plan sequence of operations and specify fabrication procedures for tools and equipment
Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions
Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans
Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency
Investigate and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality
Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control
Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements
Ensure compliance with regulations and manufacturing standards

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing
Strong understanding of quality assurance and process improvement

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
Start time: 5:00 AM EST

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
