Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Littleton/Waterton, CO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
Must be a U.S. citizen due to program requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze the Software Baseline Matrix and identify End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) plans
Identify opportunities to refine and maintain the Software Obsolescence Roadmap
Maintain a database of roadmap end items
Develop and recommend strategies for cost avoidance related to obsolescence upgrades
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of obsolescence management principles and practices
Experience in human spaceflight, particularly in software development and integration
Experience with IT systems including system software, security software, and asset management
Experience with relational database management
Experience with DevOps practices
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
Onsite 3 days per week HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
