Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Aide for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
High School Diploma required (college degree not required)
2–4 years of experience in fabrication environments including cable and harness, SMT board fabrication, or maintenance of military design products
Prior certification in solder and harness capability to MIL STD requirements
Experience fabricating electrical equipment from blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Experience communicating design or process issues to management and engineers
Experience using software tools and Microsoft products

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support to engineers across various tasks
Gather, format, compile, and manipulate technical data such as test results and design changes
Produce engineering documentation, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics)
Perform detailed mathematical calculations and preliminary data analysis
Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluations
Use personal computer for analysis and documentation

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721
Experience in procurement and acquisition of test materials
Experience interpreting and building to Lockheed Martin Test Equipment engineering
Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
