Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have experience using soldering equipment
Experience with IPC-A-610 and J-STD soldering standards
Ability to perform soldering tasks to securely connect components
Proven mechanical knowledge with electrical assembly experience
Familiarity with surface mount technology preferred
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics
Experience using power tools, ohmmeters, calipers, and soldering equipment
Ability to assemble, fabricate, and machine components as needed
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills
Must be able to read and write English
Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble electrical components and systems per specifications and schematics
Use hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble parts
Conduct testing using ohmmeters and calipers
Troubleshoot and adjust assemblies as needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with blueprint reading and mechanical assembly
Familiarity with soldering standards and inspection criteria
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
2nd Shift
Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM EST
Overtime available on weekendsEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
