Chipton-Ross is seeking for an Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist 4 for a contract opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA, Long Beach, CA or Seattle, WA.
100% onsite
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Active Secret Security Clearance is required for this position.
o Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
o Experience working with cross-functional teams across different geographic locations & time-zones.
o Experience working with program managers to develop & manager project schedule baselines.
o Experienced in managing complex integrated schedules, earned value management system (EVMS), using scheduling tools (ex. OPP, MS Project or Milestone Professional).
o Experience with managing and analyzing resource loaded schedules.
o Experience integrating complex project schedules.
o Regular and predictable attendance is required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for an Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist - DC&N CTO to join CTO IP&S team.
A successful candidate will develop and manage project schedules. Support Project Managers by providing schedule analysis based on project status, developing mitigation plans as required. And generate "what if" scenarios for Project Manager as requested.
o Leads a team of schedulers based on program priorities.
o Oversees integration of multiple schedules and manages key handoffs.
o Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards.
o Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests.
o Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
o Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules.
o Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry.
o Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
o Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
o Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels.
o Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Agile / JIRA experience.
o Experience with early development programs and proposal scheduling.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
ADDITIONAL:
Possible domestic travel 5%.
Possible OT opportunities.Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
