Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Archbald, PA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
High School Diploma
Experience with production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
Experience with wiring of assemblies and subassemblies and higher skilled soldering operations
Assembly experience with the manufacture of harnesses, circuit cards, and miscellaneous assemblies

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support electro-mechanical assembly for missile production
Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations
Operate equipment such as laser wire strippers and coax wire processing tools
Assemble, install, and terminate complex harnesses and assemblies
Perform detailed soldering on micro and sub-miniature components
Work from diagrams, drawings, schematics, and operation sheets

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
