Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Project Engineers (Product Owners) for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have an active Secret Clearance
Must be local to Orlando, FL and willing to come onsite as needed
Experience serving as a Product Owner within an Agile environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Experience with Agile software development and tools such as JIRA
Ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including PMs, EPMs, and IPT leads
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to guide team progress
Experience with engineering design principles and metrics development
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the Product Owner for a product team within a large Solution Train
Build, edit, and maintain the team backlog with input from stakeholders
Refine the backlog as part of an Agile rhythm including PI Planning
Collaborate with the team to mature the Story backlog
Understand scope of upcoming enabler work and assist with architectural decisions
Maximize value to the customer and evaluate team progress
Own risks and opportunities for the product
Ensure completed Stories meet user needs and comply with the Definition of Done
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in systems engineering, hardware integration, or software engineering
Familiarity with program management and Agile methodologies
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
