Chipton-Ross is seeking a Facility Maintenance Mechanic for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance
Experience in at least 3 of the following areas: plumbing, electrical, tile/carpet installation, carpentry, tool familiarity, heavy machinery maintenance and repair
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout plans
Ability to work safely with tools and equipment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to move throughout the facility and perform hands-on tasks throughout the day
Forklift experience preferred

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Welding
Advanced electrical certifications
Advanced carpentry skills

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support all aspects of facility maintenance including repairs, installations, and dismantling of industrial machinery and equipment
Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools
Perform routine inspections and maintenance
Replace worn or broken parts and reassemble equipment
Support carpentry work and general facility upkeep
Assist in overhauls and repairs of complex mechanical systems

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
