Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Ability to read and interpret prints, labeling diagrams, and mixing ratios
Experience operating dispensing and coating machines
Ability to mask/tape circuit boards and inspect coating coverage
Experience maintaining and cleaning coating/dispensing machines
Manual touch-up and removal of excess coating
Experience transporting circuit boards and handling materials
Familiarity with potting, bonding, encapsulation, and coating compounds
Ability to replenish chemicals and perform chemical cleaning
Experience applying spray coats, lubricants, and insulated tape
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions
Must be able to read and write English
Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform coating, masking, and potting tasks on circuit boards and assemblies
Operate and maintain coating and dispensing equipment
Inspect assemblies for quality and consistency
Support production flow by transporting and preparing assemblies
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Complete specific function training and support fluctuating production needs

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Candidates with backgrounds in nail tech, car wraps, graphic arts, or model hobbies tend to excel in this role

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST
Overtime available on weekends

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
