Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Planner 3 for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.

100% onsite

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position.
o One or more years working with aircraft wiring, structures, or systems installations and planning.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is seeking a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Manufacturing Planners who will provide engineering support to the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP). This position will be physically located in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position will focus on working with the team to create, revise and review the build plans and installation plans for the B-52J Commercial Reengine Program.

o Possess experience and knowledge of manufacturing, methods, fabrication processes (e.g., forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, instrumentation, data acquisition and control systems).
o Create work instructions for installing components, systems and other assemblies.
o Create, revise, and maintain production and manufacturing process documents and training materials.
o Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards.
o Conduct routine data analysis to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
o Follow procedures, publication standards and government/customer specifications for authoring.
o Maintenance of data in Web based or on-line based tools.
o Work with the project team, subject matter experts, and use existing documentation to understand content need.
o Providing guidance and mentoring team during project execution.
o Able to work independently with minimum supervision, positive demeanor and highest ethics.
o Proactively seek information and direction to complete the statement of work successfully. Meet assigned production schedules and deadlines.
o Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of source data (e.g. Engineering Drawings, Modifications) to understand the impact it should have on the product.
o Work collaboratively with multi-functional team. Must be willing to work flexible hours to collaborate with Client personnel around the world.
o Maintain awareness of AS9100 D quality management system and Ensure compliance with company quality management system requirements.
o Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
o Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to deploy collaborative plans and execute on projects.
o Good analytical approach for problem solving, driving the innovations with speed and agility.
o Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

Preferred Tools and Program Experience: GOLDesp, CATIAV5, IVT, PowerPoint, Manufacturing Readiness Assessments, Program Manufacturing Plan, EBOM/MBOM reconciliation, MANTIS, ADO, CMPRO

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o 3 or more years of work experience in aircraft modifications.
o Experience with producibility reviews.
o Experience with installation work instructions.
o Experience troubleshooting complex issues where the root cause may not be immediately clear.
o Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
