Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Active Secret Clearance required to start
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree
8+ years of experience in Agile environments
Experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Solution Train Engineer (STE)
Agile Transformation coaching experience
Intermediate to advanced Jira experience
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Experience working in a virtual organization

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Program Management Office (PMO), Solution Train, and peer RTEs
Identify and resolve bottlenecks across the solution
Act as a change agent for Agile Transformation
Coach teams to enable decentralized decision-making and alignment
Ensure the program is outcome-driven and monitor solution health via metrics
Facilitate large solution-level events and support planning events
Coordinate product and solution delivery
Drive continuous process improvement

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Domain experience in business development or software development
Experience with Jira plugins such as Structure and Agile Hive

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
