Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Systems Test Engineers for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
4–6 years of experience with software development (C, C++, LabVIEW preferred)
4–6 years of experience in a production environment
6+ years of experience in test equipment design
6+ years of experience in electronic testing
6+ years of experience in mechanical testing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Safety shoes required

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components
Translate customer requirements into system test solutions
Establish functional and technical specifications and standards
Solve hardware/software interface problems and define I/O parameters
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures
Coordinate subsystem/system testing with programs and other teams
Analyze test results and prepare evaluation reports
Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
LabVIEW/LabWindows CVI and NI development/maintenance experience
Proficiency in C/C++ with ATE hardware integration (switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, automation)
Experience with automated test equipment in high-volume production
Background in Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
